Hardware Engineer
Socomate International, part of the EKOSCAN INTEGRITY Group, is a recognized player in the field of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using ultrasonic technology. The company designs, develops, and markets high-performance electronic boards and solutions for demanding industrial clients.
As part of its ongoing growth, Socomate is looking for a Hardware Engineer to strengthen its R&D team and contribute to the innovation of its product range.

Missions
- Designing and developing embedded firmware on microcontrollers and FPGAs (VHDL/Verilog).
- Defining, coding, simulating, and validating FPGA architectures for real-time ultrasonic signal processing.
- Developing low-level software layers (drivers, interface management, custom protocols).
- Ensuring firmware integration with hardware and application software.
- Participating in testing, validation, and performance optimization phases.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of existing platforms and proposing innovative solutions.
- Collaborating closely with hardware, acoustic, and software teams to ensure technical coherence across developments.
- Writing and maintaining technical documentation.
Ideal Profile
- Engineering degree or equivalent in electronics / embedded systems / FPGA.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in embedded firmware and FPGA development.
- Strong skills in:
- Hardware description languages (VHDL, Verilog).
- Embedded firmware development in C/C++ for microcontrollers.
- Communication protocols (Ethernet, SPI, I2C, UART…).
- FPGA design and simulation tools (Vivado, Quartus, ModelSim…).
- Solid understanding of digital electronics and signal processing.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team, with autonomy and precision.
- Good command of technical English (spoken and written).
Key Skills
- Knowledge of analog and digital electronics applied to ultrasonic signals.
- Experience in the field of Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
- Familiarity with real-time environments (RTOS).
