Modes fusion
Mode fusion in Total Focusing Method (TFM) refers to combining multiple propagation modes in one reconstruction in order to improve flaw detectability and image interpretation. Mode fusion can be done by keeping the maximum amplitude for each pixel of a TFM image between several modes, summing those amplitude, keeping an average of by calculating the correlation between the various modes.
